If HeadcountZero is not what you needed, you get your money back, within 14 days of buying, for any reason, without filling out a form or justifying yourself.
How to get a refund
Reply to your receipt email, or write to:

Include the email address you bought with, and say which item if you bought more than one. That is the whole process. We confirm and process the refund within 48 hours of your request. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the money typically lands back on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Each item refunds on its own
Everything here is charged separately, so everything refunds separately. If you bought the book and later added the Company OS, you can refund either one without touching the other. Refunding the book does not claw back the OS, and refunding the OS does not take the book away from you.
If you want everything refunded, say so and we refund all of it in one go.
One honest note about the question we may ask. This product is early, and the people asking for refunds are the ones who can tell us most about what is wrong with it. So we may write back and ask what did not work for you.
That question is optional, and it is never a condition. You do not have to answer it, argue with it, or reply at all. The refund is already approved when you ask for it. If you would rather just have your money back with no conversation, say so and that is exactly what happens.
The make-it-right alternative
A refund is not the only option, and often is not the best one. If a specific chapter or install step lost you, tell us which one. We will fix that step, and the fix becomes part of the book for everyone who bought it, including you. If the fix still does not get you through, the refund stands. Your call, always.
What you keep, and what stops
HeadcountZero is digital: the book is read through an access link, and the Company OS, the Install Kit and the narrated edition are downloads. When a refund is issued for an item, your access to that item ends and your licence to use its files ends with it.
Anything you built with the method in your own folders is yours. We have no access to it and no claim on it, and we never had.
Your statutory rights
Some countries, including EU and UK jurisdictions, give consumers a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, though that right can lapse for digital content once you have been given immediate access to it. Our guarantee is granted independently of that: 14 days, full refund, whether or not you have opened, downloaded or used anything. You are never worse off than the statutory position.
The fair-use lines
- Repeat purchases. If the same person buys and refunds repeatedly, we may decline future purchases. One honest look is what the guarantee is for.
- Redistribution. Requesting a refund while sharing your access link or the downloaded files with others is not covered. See the Terms.
- Chargebacks. Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A refund by email is faster than a chargeback, and we have never refused one.
The Claude subscription is not ours to refund
The book is written for Claude Code, which you buy directly from Anthropic under their terms. That subscription is between you and Anthropic. We never charge you for it, we earn nothing from it, and we cannot refund it. Cancelling it is done in your Anthropic account.
